Writers' Club

The Writers' Club program offers writing instruction and provides the opportunity for participants to explore their creativity through the literary arts.


What Do We Do In The Writer's Club?

The Writer's Club offers instruction and practice in writing at different skill levels. Participants have the opportunity to learn about and practice writing various genres, writing styles and literary techniques.

The cirriculum is designed to focus on the participants and their personal development. The instructional approach is flexible and relaxed, with ample opportunity for writing practice, discussion and feedback.

The core classes offered each semester include: Creative Writing, Poetry, Introduction to Computers, Movies in Review and Journalism. Other classes are also offered and rotated through the semesters to provide variety. Drop-in time is also available for students wishing to work on individual projects.

Participants are invited to enroll in the class(es)which interest them.

When does the Writer's Club Program meet?

The Writer's Club program meets Monday to Friday and classes are offered in twelve week sessions.
