Writer's Club

The Writer's Club offers participants writing instruction in a safe and nurturing environment and provides the opportunity for them to discover and explore their creativity through the literary arts.

What We Do In The Writer's Club?

The Writer's Club provides multi-level literary experiences for participants.  Classes are offered at an introductory level for participants with little or no experience in creative expression as well as classes and learning opportunities to challenge the more experienced writers.

The curriculum is designed to focus on the writers and their personal development.  Participants have opportunities to learn and practice various techniques, to explore what constitutes creative expression and their personal creativity.

Classes at the introductory level explore various genres, writing techniques and literary devices. Advanced classes have more of an individualized focus with emphasis on creative and personal writing.

Participants can enroll in the class(es) that best meet their own interests and abilities.

When does the Writer's Club Program meet? The Writer's Club program meets Monday to Friday and classes are offered in twelve week sessions. Class schedules vary, call for current class schedule.
