Occupational and Leisure Skills
Occupational and Leisure Skills is a multi-activity program that promotes skill development, creative expression and connection with others.
What Do We Do in Occupational and Leisure Skills?
The Occupational and Leisure Skills program is divided into learning modules with activities that focus on the follwoing areas:
- Theapeutic arts and crafts - art expression, individual and group crafts
- Daily Living Skills and Healthy Lifestyles - activities and/or discussions that develop skills or provide information related to daily living or health related topics
- Development of social networks - activities and/or discussion that promote social connections and skill development
- Community outings and leisure interests - introduce available community resources and provide positive leisure experiences in the community
When Does Occupational and Leisure Skills Meet?
Group I meets Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday from
9:00 a.m. - noon
Group II meets Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday from
1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
The program is ongoing, participants can stay in the program for as long as it is benefiting them. |
